Mr. Harvey Eugene Lowe, 89 years old, passed away on May 15, 2026.

Harvey was born on June 28, 1936, in Columbia County to the late Beatrice and Louie Lowe. Harvey served his country for 2 years in the Navy and he retired from King Mill. Harvey was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing and cutting the grass when he was able to. He also enjoyed going hunting with Nellie and Tony and was a member of Big Buck Hunting Club. He also loved talking on the phone to his good friend, Richard Barton, and his nephews, Sammy Newman and Ricky Lowe. He was a loving and caring man and would even tell Teresa and Audrey to call him when they got home after they left his house. He will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents Harvey is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 68 years, Nellie Lowe; his son, Tony Lowe; sisters, Lucille Newman, Margaret Stewart, and Viola Stewart; brothers, Charlie Lowe, Earl Lowe, and Felton Lowe.

Harvey is survived by his 19 nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 21,2026 from 12:00 until 1:00 PM at Thomas L. King Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 PM with Rev. Dewain French officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
