Harvey Boone, 66, of Augusta, passed away on May 13, 2026.
Harvey was a lifelong resident of the CSRA. Harvey was a hardworking man who was always doing something, and he was a skilled painter. Family was important to him as he was a beloved husband, father, brother and papa. Harvey was one of a kind and many friends referred to him as a legend even saying, “if you don’t like Harvey Boone there is something wrong with you.” Harvey never met a stranger and never had a harsh word about anyone. Harvey really enjoyed life and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Harvard Boone and Mary Tilley Brown; and his brother, Ronnie Boone.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Lillian Boone; his children, Michael Kennedy, April Boone, and Bo Boone; his siblings, Donna Boone Kennedy, Denise Miskelly, Diane Boone, Todd Boone, Leonard Boone, Brian Brown, Chris Brown; he was a beloved papa to his grandchildren, Hali Hovis, Hannah Kennedy, Michael Kennedy, Shyann Screven, Mae-Annie Screven, Maria Aubrielle Screven, Shyanne Waldorf, Beau Alexander Boone, Georgia Mae Boone, Bella Eve Boone, Killian Grace Boone, and Elijah Gray Boone.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Thomas L. King Funeral Home with Hank Miskelly, Adam Blake and Bo Boone as speakers. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM prior to the service. The family kindly requests that you wear bright colors to symbolize Harvey’s overall love of life.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations be made to the Boy’s and Girls Club or to a Brain Cancer Society.
