Harry Jason George, 72, of Aiken, South Carolina, passed on February 3, 2022. He was born to John Dalton George and Esther Maxine Abernathy in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on September 11, 1949.

Harry is preceded in death by his son, Harry George, Jr.; sister, Jean Burrows; brother, John Dalton, Jr.; and his mother and father. Survivors include his children, Steven George, Karen Wiechert, Tesjuan Hyland, Christopher George, Jeremy George, Katelyn George, and Kara Hydrick; five grandchildren; brother, Bill Abernathy; and sister, Pam Hunt.

Harry worked as a Machinist and a Tool and Die maker. He was passionate about it and always tinkered with things to fix and didn't want to put it down until it was fixed. He served his country for 2 years in the Army when he was drafted, where he helped build missiles and was an instructor. Harry will be cremated per his request.
