Entered into rest on December 22, 2018 Mrs. Grace Screws Mays age 98 wife of the late Leonard P. Mays. She was born in Jefferson County Georgia, a retired Register Nurse, a longtime member of Marks Baptist Church and a current member of Pine View Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons Tommy (Peggy) Mays of Grovetown, Ga. and Lloyd Mays of Applying, Ga., one daughter Linda (Pat) Stewart of Evans, Ga., six grandchildren Lynn Mays of Evans, Ga., Dana Samples of Grovetown, Ga., Sharon Duke of Sugar Hill, Ga., Philip Stewart of Savannah, Ga., Tracie Richardson of Dearing, Ga., Lindy Snyder of Lexington, SC, eight great grandchildren Macey Johnson, Madison Samples, Emily Duke, Joshua Duke, Thomas Samples, Mackenzie Richardson, Kate Snyder and Charlotte Snyder and one great great-grandson Landon Johnson. Funeral will be held Thursday December 27, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with Dr. Michael Davenport and Rev. Gene Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service at Bellevue chapel. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
