Ms. Gloria Lorene Etheridge Carreras, age 79, entered into rest Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Doctors Hospital surrrounded by her family. Ms. Carreras was born in Augusta, GA to the late Athey and Marjorie Wylds Jenkins. Ms. Carreras was a LPN Senior Nurse where she retired from Georgia Regional Hospital. She was a devoted mother, sister, and aunt. She will be greatly missed by all. Most of all she was a devoted Nana to Cameron and Kylee, her grandchildren. Ms. Carreras was preceded in death by her brother, William P. Etheridge. The family will receive friends from 11: 00 A.M. until the time of service on Monday. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, July 23, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. at Thomas L. King Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ray Patrick officiating. Ms. Carreras is survived by her two daughters, Deanna Carreras of Augusta, GA and Chantel Carreras of North Augusta, SC; two grandchildren, Cameron Carreras of Augusta, GA and Kylee Carreras of North Augusta, SC; and a brother, Alvin Jenkins (Tina) of Grovetown, GA.
