Mrs. Geraldine Pardue Vowell, entered into rest on February 4, 2021 at University Hospital, Augusta, Georgia. A graveside service will be held Monday, February 8, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Westover Memorial Park with Pastor Ray Reynolds officiating.

"Gerri" as she was known, was a caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to believe it or not, all boys. Gerri was educated in Augusta and began her career as a legal secretary with the Law Firm of Sanders, Hester, Holley, Askin, and Dye. Gerri eventually ended up spending forty plus years in the office of Richmond County Probate Court, serving as Chief Clerk for the late Honorable Judge Iree Pope.

She was preceded in death by her parents Henry Carlton and Lillian Salley Pardue, and daughter Vicki Lynn Vowell.

Family Members include her children, Jimmy Vowell (Laney), and Billy Vowell, grandchildren, Matthew Vowell, Taylor Vowell, and Andrew Vowell, great grandchildren Noah Vowell, and Liam Vowell, sister Genevieve Pardue Thurmond (Gene), nephews Gary Thurmond and Bruce Thurmond. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Face masks and social distancing will be used for the visitation and service. Thomas L.
