George Michael Sidener, 67, of Columbia, SC passed away Thursday, September 16th 2021. Michael was of the Christian faith, a servant of the Lord, who brought many people to know Christ. He was a great man of character, he loved deeply, was good natured, fun, happy, a good friend, an avid gardener and loved to go on adventures. He was a gypsy at heart and loved life. He enjoyed entertaining and was a passionate cook. He is survived by his mother: Barbara Hanshew; fiancé: Sherry Chittenden; son: Dallas Sidener (Melissa); daughter: Brooke Machado (Robbie); 5 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. The family will have a private service at a later date to celebrate his life. He will be greatly missed. Thomas L. King Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
