Mr. George Davis Savage, Sr., 82, of Lincolnton, entered into rest on May 7, 2024.

George was a lifelong area resident and retired from Clearwater Finishing Plant. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being at the lake. He loved to spend time with his family especially his precious grandchildren and great grandchildren. A good fish fry or just having a home cooked meal was one of his favorite things to do. He could also be found working on his truck or his boat. He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Clarence Raymond Savage Sr. and Thelma Savage; his wife, Katherine Savage; his daughter, Deborah Darlene Scavone; and his siblings, Clarence Savage Jr., Irene Dye, Patrick Fitzgerald Savage, Mary Ann Savage, Robert Savage, Roy Henry Savage, and Sandra Loraine Reese.

Survivors include his children, Katherine Diane James, Teresa Lynn Savage, Lisa Michele Nicholson, George Davis Savage Jr., Timothy Benson Savage, Kimberly Mae Langley, and Christopher Lee Savage; siblings, Barbara Jean Bullock, Carole Lynn Odom, and Dr. Russell A. Savage; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held 12:00 PM Friday May, 10, 2024 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Rd., Augusta GA 30906 with Rev. Shane Padgett officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday May 9, 2024, at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez GA 30907.
