AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest on June 21, 2014 at Georgia Regents Hospital, Mr. Gary McGahee. Mr. McGahee was the son of the late James H. and Zinnie B. McGahee. He was born in Augusta and lived all of his life in this area. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force as operations clerk. He served in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Debora Jean Brassell. Survivors: one son, Morris McGahee; three daughters, Teri Mobley, Debora M. Brassell, Karen Vickrey; two sisters, Lillie M. Elliott and Helen Grizzard; nine grandchildren. Visitation will be tonight, Tuesday, June 24, 6 to 8 p.m., at the Thomas L. King Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in the Chapel of King Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Kurt Miller officiating.
