JACKSON, S.C. - Entered into rest at Brighton, Colorado on February 13, 2016, Mr. Gary H. Garland of Jackson, S.C. He was the son of the late Tommy Harold and Helga Huther Garland. He was a welder for MOX and a graduate of Butler in 1986 and Augusta Tech in 1997. He worked for Hamburg for 10 years and was also a member of Local Welder Union. Survivors: one daughter, Megan Alise Garland, Waynesboro, Ga.; one son, Hunter Cash, Nashville, TN; one brother, Tom Garland, Evans, Ga.; two sisters, Debra Nimmons, Evans, Ga. and L. Garland, Jackson, S.C.; two grandchildren, Chaz Black and Tristen Gomisch. Funeral service will be held today, February 26, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. with Dr. Michael Davenport at Thomas L. King Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
