Gary Edward  Ellsworth Sr., 59, entered into rest on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.

Mr. Ellsworth was a well known carpenter in McDuffie County and was a member of the Second Chance Independent Church.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tiffany Thompson. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lisa Murphy Ellsworth; his daughter, Jessica Wiederkehr (Tyler) of Thomson; his son, Eric Colrud of Summerville, South Carolina; and his grandchildren, Payton Wiederkehr and Tyler Wiederkehr Jr., both of Thomson.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 27th, 2024, at Georgia Second Chance Independent Church, 1152 Hillcrest Drive, Thomson, GA, with Pastor David Carroll officiating. Immediately following the service, the family will receive visitors at the church until 3:00 pm.
