Frank Short Jr., 86, a devoted family man and skilled electrician, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025, in Hephzibah, GA.

Born in New Jersey, Frank was a long-time resident of the Augusta area. Known for his skills as an electrician, he was always ready to share his knowledge and advice with those who needed it. Outside of work, Frank enjoyed his free time, often hanging out with friends at the Moose Club or working in his yard, especially riding his lawnmower, which he loved.

A lifelong and passionate Elvis Presley enthusiast, he amassed a large collection of memorabilia and delighted in visiting swap meets and flea markets in search of new treasures. Frank never met a stranger and possessed a generous spirit, willing to help anyone in need. Above all, he loved his family dearly and treasured the time spent with his grandchildren.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Short; his children, Robert Short (Blanca), Wayne Short (Sue), Kim Nelson (David), and Brian Short; his grandchildren, Chantel Preuss, David Nelson Jr. (Sierra), Shelby Short (Inez), and Alyssa Shire (Jason); and his two great-grandchildren, Kaydence and Remi.
