U.S. Army AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest at University Hospital in Augusta, Ret. Lt. Col. Francis MacDonald, husband of the late Dorothy Virginia MacDonald of Augusta. He was the son of the late Francis and Sarah L. MacDonald, Sr. and was retired form the U.S. Army as a Lt. Colonel. Survivors include 2 daughters, Karen Plummer and husband Michael, Mary Owen MacDonald; 2 grandchildren, Elissa Rae Tudor and Michael J. Plummer; 2 great grandchildren, Matthew Francis Tudor and Brooklyn Olivia Tudor. Graveside service will be held on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 2:30 p.m., with Father Otwell officiating in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Langley, S.C. Family will receive friends between the hours of 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., on Monday, November 25 at the Thomas L. King Funeral Home.
