Obituary

Frances Hall Beach entered into rest on Monday April 28th, 2025 from her home.  Frances was feisty and fiercely independent from a very young age and never changed.  She was born in Augusta, Georgia and moved to Evans, Georgia as a child, graduating from Evans High School in 1944. After graduation, she met Bob Beach at a USO dance and the rest is history. He moved to Ohio for work with General Motors.  They married and settled in Dayton, Ohio. Once settled in Ohio Frances learned to drive and started her 30 year career with Winters Bank. She was a determined and loyal employee, working her way up to head teller and became the keyholder for her branch.  She loved Ohio and all the friends she made during her time there that she considered her family. She was always up for travel.  Fran and Bob were famous road warriors; they would get maps from AAA and take off on adventures. They visited all 50 States and visited every National Park in the US.  They also traveled to Canada, New Finland, Mexico and The Holy Land.   During their retirement, they would travel to St. Petersburg, Florida for months at time.  Frances also had a passion for reading and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her parents William Hall and Dorothy Burns Hall, her husband of 70 years Robert Beach, her sisters Clara Rivers and Elizabeth Norris, along with her brother William Hall Jr.

She leaves behind her niece Dorothy Smith who took loving care of her for the last years of her life allowing her to remain in her home.  Also her faithful and loving caregiver Juliette who was by her side day in and day out, giving her the ability to remain as she had been for the last 98 years on her own independent terms doing things Fran's way.

Words can never express our families gratitude to all the Southeast Hospice employees,  with Suzie and "V" especially making Frances feel cared for and not a burden as they offered their help allowing her to make her own medical and care decisions and keeping her comfortable through out her journey home.

The family will hold a private Burial graveside at Westover Memorial Park on Thursday May 1st, 2025  with Pastor Steve Spencer officiating.
