Entered into rest on January 13, 2021 Mrs. Evelyn Anne (Mama) Riggs of Augusta Ga. Wife of the late Douglas Lee Riggs. The funeral service will be held Saturday January 16, 2021 at 10:30 am at Clifford Memorial Church with Pastor Tony Henderson and Pastor Barry Clanton officiating. The interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service and after the service.

Mama as she was called by her family and friends was born in Screven County to the late Charles and Lola Strickland. Mrs. Riggs did 4 months in the Army in 1943 as a WAC. She later became a CNA and later retired as a line supervisor at Lily Tulip. Mrs. Riggs loved her church ,her family and teaching children. Survivors include three sons- Perry (Bubba) Badger (Keri), Ricky Lee Badger (Debbie) and Robert Badger (Laura) two daughters- Lola Jean Brissell and Alice Mueller(Mark) one sister Barnell Holsenbach , 24 grandchildren, 28 Great Grandchildren and 1- Great Great Grandchild.
