Mrs. Eva Tillman James, 86, beloved wife of the late Aaron A. James, Jr., entered into rest Friday, January 26, 2018 at Lake Crossing Health Center. Mrs. James was born in Baxely, GA to the late Herman and Effie O'connor Tillman. Mrs. James had attended Broad Street Baptist Church, was an avid seamstress, loved to crochet, and to cook for her family. She was loved by all that knew her and will be greatly missed. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from the Chapel of Thomas L. King with Pastor Greg Glover officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. James is also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rachel James. Family members include a daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Mason, Clerk of Superior Court of Columbia County (Harry) of Martinez, GA; 2 sons, Michael James of Evans, GA and Wayne James of Belvedere, SC; 8 grandchildren, Ashley, Michelle, Laura, Timothy, Stuart, Matthew, Chelsea, and Josh; and 9 great grandchildren, Jonah, Natalie, Christine, Gabriel, Aueren, Emery, Cruz, Dallas, and River.
