Eugene Oliver Johnikin, 84, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.

Mr. Johnikin was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie W. and Louise Johnikin. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Maltsberger Johnikin; three daughters; Rhonda J. Moody of Augusta, GA, Robyn D. Shiflett (Rick) of Hephzibah, GA, and Regina Lynn Hawkins (Anthony) of Evans; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and his fur babies, Lacey, Zoey, Oliver, Stormi, and Bandit.

Mr. Johnikin had retired from the Addison Corporation.

He loved the Lord and his family, fishing, gardening, hunting, dancing, shooting pool, and his chickens.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Georgia, especially his nurse Paul Smith, for their care.

Pallbearers will be Chad Plueger, Justin Plueger, Jason Plueger, Wesley Plueger, Austin Plueger, Chandler Shiflett, Joseph Ruff, and Brandon Ruff.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 6:00pm on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez GA 30907. Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm on Monday, October 9, 2023, in the chapel at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, with Pastor Anthony Hawkins officiating, followed by interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Road, Augusta GA 30906.
