Emily "Karen" Perdue Ford, 66, entered into rest on Sunday, July 14, 2024. She was born December 29, 1957 in Wrens, Georgia.

Emily is survived by her children, Kyle Ford and Aimee Ford; grandchildren, Mallory Fox, Marissa Fox, and Karlee Fitzgerald; her siblings, Faye P. Johnson, Elene P. Davidson, Laura P. Daniel, and James "Jimmy" Perdue; and her nephew Randal Davidson. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Solon Jack Ford; her mother, Bernice Jeanette Thompson; her father, Emmit Perdue; and her brother, Charles W. Perdue.

Emily was a warrior, fighting cancer for over 30 years. She loved her garden, it was her therapy.

Emily was loved by all and will be missed by those who knew her.
