AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Elizabeth L. Scott, 78, beloved wife of the late Mr. Johnnie F. Scott, entered into rest Saturday, November 28, 2015 at University Hospital. Mrs. Scott was born in Long Beach, NJ to the late Lester and Marian Vanpelt. She was a member of Pineview Baptist Church and had retired from Carole Fabrics. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Pineview Baptist Church with Dr. Michael Davenport officiating. Mrs. Scott will lie in state one hour prior to the service. She is survived by a son, Ronald Scott of Augusta, GA; and six daughters, Ruth Ann Lowery and her husband Jimmy of Erin, TN, Carol Thomason of Augusta, Ga., Teresa Shirey of Beech Island, SC, Donna Copeland of Augusta, GA, Janet Collins and her husband Kenneth of Fayetteville, NC, and Sue Ann Lee and her husband Jerry of Fayetteville, NC: and 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
