Mr. Edgar Eugene Riggs, 80, husband of the late Mary Poss Riggs, of Evans, entered into rest on December 20, 2020. A graveside service will be held Wednesday December 23, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bobby Renew officiating.

Mr. Riggs was born in Vaucluse SC on September 8, 1940 and was the son of the late Alvin and Dovie Riggs. He had retired as a textile manager from Graniteville Company, and had served in the National Guard. Survivors include his son James Riggs, and his brother Chester L. Riggs. Family and friends will meet at the graveside there will be no visitation at the funeral home. The family requests that those attending the service please practice social distancing and wear a mask.
