Mrs. Edeltraud (Tonia) K. Sprenger Hayes, age 90, wife of the late Henry Columbus Hayes Jr., of Martinez, entered into rest on December 29, 2020. Graveside services will be held Monday January 4, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Pastor Andrea WindsorPeterson and Pastor Jason Peterson officiating.

Mrs. Hayes was born in Germany on June 22, 1930 and is the daughter of the late Emil Franz Sprenger and Elfriede Marta Sprenger. She retired from J.B. White, working in sales for over 25 + years. She loved helping people and could talk to anyone. She had many friends. She attended the Advent Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by her daughter Linda Hayes and her son Harry Hayes.

Survivors include her son, Harvey Lee Hayes and wife Mary Justin Hayes, (Evans); a granddaughter, Stephanie Marie Hayes, (University of Georgia, Athens); two sisters Barbel Ruckgarber, and Lydia Diem (Germany), sister in law Louise Wagers and brother in law Harold Wagers (Florida). In lieu of flowers please give to the charity of your choice.  The family will receive friends Monday January 4, 2021, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
