Entered into rest on August 31, 2018 Mr. Eddie Thomas Cox Sr. husband to Mrs. Leila Charlene Cox for 65 years. Mr. Cox served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a Baptist and a Mason. Additional survivors include two sons Eddie Tommy Cox Jr. of Harlem, Ga. and Terry Cox wife Marty of Harlem, Ga., three daughters Donna Cox Best husband Jimmy of Beach Island, S.C., Debra Cox Powell of Augusta, Ga. and Melanie Jane Cox of Augusta, Ga., one brother Richard Cox of Appling, Ga., eleven grandchildren and two great grand-children. The funeral will be held Tuesday September 4, 2018 at 11:00 am at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with Chaplain Dusty Wammack officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Joe Powell, Joey Reynolds, Jimmy Best, Joseph Powell, Jameson Cox, and Don Parker.
