Mrs. Dorothy Doreen Turner Ellington - GROVETOWN - Entered into rest on February 10, 2017 Mrs. Dorothy Doreen Turner Ellington of Grovetown, GA. wife of the late Calvin Ellington. Mrs. Ellington was retired from One Way Christian School as the Financial Secretary. She was a member of Dayspring Baptist Church. She loved working in her garden and being with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Ellington was the daughter of the late Marlie Turner and Alice Olliff Turner. She was preceded in death by her husband Calvin Ellington, 2 brothers Howard Turner and Albert Turner, and a granddaughter Glenda Tomlinson. She is survived by four sons Max Alvin Ellington (wife Shirley) of Harlem, GA, Aubrey Allen Ellington (wife Mary) of Grovetown, GA, Calvin Wayne Ellington (wife Linda) of Grovetown, GA, and William Keith Ellington of Augusta, GA, 1 daughter Carolyn Tomlinson (husband Needom) of Evans, GA, 1 brother Marlie Lewis Turner Jr. (wife Diane) of Powder Springs, GA, 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. A church service will be held Tuesday February 14, 2017 at 11:00am at Dayspring Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie West and Pastor Jackie Perkins officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00pm in EL Bethel Baptist Church cemetery Twin City, GA. Pallbearers - Kenneth Ellington, Brian Ellington, Glenn Tomlinson, Greg Stokes, Jason Adams and Frank Costello.
