Mrs. Dorothy Chatham Elledge, born June 15, 1928 in Sandy Cross GA entered into rest March 31, 2017 at Lake Crossing Health Center. She is the daughter of the Late Oscar and Lucille Chatham, the wife of the Late Herman Franklin Elledge. Dorothy drove the school bus for Columbia County Board of Education for 35 years never missing a day. She was an avid vegetable and flower gardener. She was adventurous, loved to travel with her children and grandchildren trying new experiences and enjoying life. She is preceded in death by her son, Daniel K. Elledge, 1 sister - Ruth Jolly and 4 brothers - William, Harold, Donald and Edwin Chatham. Additional survivors include 1 son - Michael F (Kathy) Elledge of Grovetown, GA., 2 daughters - Roseanna E (Tom) Marble of Appling, GA., and Elaine (Joe) Olah of Ormond Beach, FL., 9 Grandchildren -Jennifer Pruitt, Rachel Marble, Katie Marble, Melissa Barry, Dorothy Stensing, David Olah, Jared Olah, Dylan McCully and Jason Lowe and 8 Great Grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Tuesday April 4, 2017 at 2:00pm at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with Jeff Meeks officiating.
