Donnie Cecil Richards entered into rest on December 24th, 2022, at the age of 76.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Ethelene Richards; and brother, Danny Richards. He is survived by his wife, Jan Richards; two sons, David Richards(Dianne), and Shane Richards(Cheryl); two step-sons, David Dressel, and Brian Dressel; and several nephews.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 - 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 28th, 2022 at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez, GA 30907. Following services at Thomas L. King Funeral Home Mr. Richards will be conveyed to Blount County Funeral home, 17885 AL-160, Cleveland, AL 35049. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 30th, 2022 at Blount County Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation two hours prior to service time at Blount County Funeral Home. Interment will be at Nectar Cemetery, 14295 AL - 160, Nectar, AL 35049.
