Donnel H. Johnson, 67, entered into rest on Friday, November 19th, 2021, at his residence. An Augusta native, Donnell was called "Coup" by those that knew him best. Donnell enjoyed spending time with his family, helping others, and enjoying life. He had a great sense of humor.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Handy and Lizzie Johnson; sons, Donald F. Grace and Donald Grace; and sister, Mamie Johnson.

Donnel leaves to cherish his memories, three daughters, Marietta Brown (Hampton VA),  Angel Wimberly (Augusta GA), and Khalilah Wimberly (Jacksonville FL); eight grandchildren, Darius, Destiny, Anthony, Xavier,(Demetrius) Dashanti, Kayla, and Kemora; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Anne Mcalealy (Washington D.C.), Ruth Winfrey (Bronx NY), Marietta McQueen (Augusta GA), and Levon Johnson (Atlanta CA); and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and some very good friends.
