Donna J. Kay, 65, of Augusta, passed away on August 24, 2026.

Donna was a lifelong resident of Augusta. she enjoyed fishing when she was able to. She was a very giving and selfless person who was always thinking of others. Her selfless nature was demonstrated in her care for others whether it was her family or even just a stranger she was always there for everyone. She will be missed by all who knew her. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Bob and Jane Richardson; and her siblings, Sherrell Martin, Henry Martin, and Lamar Martin.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Willie Kay; and her sisters, Bobbie Duppstadt (Jimmy Creech), Jill Richardson, and Sherry Hart (Harry).

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held in the Thomas L. King Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jonathan Curtis officiating. The family will recieve friends from 12:00 until 1:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
