Donald Oliver Tabor, 93, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. He was born in Mexico, KY on November 22, 1929, to Ruby and Calvin Tabor.

Donald was a U.S Army Veteran and retired Pilot Freight Truck driver. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and helping others. He was a member of Damascus Baptist Church and was a loving father and grandfather.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin Tabor and Ruby (Marvin) Crowley; his Daughter, Darlene Tabor; and his brother, J.C. Tabor. Donald is survived by his loving wife, (Viola Tabor) of 74 years; Children, Donald "Donnie" (Deborah) Tabor, Tony (Brenda) Tabor, Barry Tabor Sr, and Kenneth Tabor; Grandchildren, Bonnie Alexander, Shelby (Phil) Mullinax, Ronald Tabor, Jennifer Ansley, Barry Tabor Jr., Tina (Michael) Martin, Kenny Tabor Jr, and Dustin Tabor; and Several Great Grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, December 16th, 2022, at Damascus Baptist Church, 6375 Ridge Road, Appling, GA 30802. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time for visitation. Interment will be at Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery.
