AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Donald Wayne Pinkston died Thursday, June 18, 2015. Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 3 p.m. at Thomas L. King Funeral Home. A native of Salisbury, N.C., he worked for the RCSO for 35 years. Survivors include two children Shannon Pinkston Sanchez and Brian Wayne Pinkston; three grandchildren Thomas Wayne Engelke, Cristian Sanchez, and Gabriela Sanchez, all of Augusta; a life-long friend of 51 years Regina Pinkston Plummer; two sisters Jane (Montie) Mills and Carolyn Tallant and one brother Michael Pinkston, all of Salisbury, N.C.; many nieces, nephews, and extended family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday afternoon from 1 until 3 p.m.
