Donald Calvin Tabor, age 76 of Augusta, Georgia passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 27, 1949 in Henderson, Kentucky, the son of Viola Mae Todd and Donald O. Tabor.

Donnie attended Evans High School where he met his high school sweetheart, Deborah Jean Nichols.He proudly served in the United States Marines from 1969-1975. 

Donnie married Deborah the love of his life in 1969 at Abilene Baptist Church in Martinez, Georgia. They were blessed with twin daughters, Shelby Tabor Mullinax and Bonnie L. Tabor. 

He was a devoted father to Shelby and Bonnie and a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren, Caleb Barnes, Courtnie Alcorn (Nick) Madelyne Miller (Brady), Mary Kayte Hadden (Joshua) Meredith Mullinax, Caroline Dryden (Trent), and Morgan Mullinax.

He as known for his meticulous gifts in carpentry leading him to build his esteemed business in the CSRA and surrounding areas for over 25 years. Donnie took great pride in his work, earning the respect of family and friends alike. His passion was spending time with his wife and grandchildren. 

Donnie was known to be very witty, loved to make those around him laugh and was a huge fan of the Georgia Bulldogs. He was involved in Trinity Baptist Church where he attended faithfully.

Donnie is survived by his wife Deborah N. Tabor of 56 years, daughters Shelby Tabor Mullinax (Phil) and Bonnie Tabor, mother, Viola Tabor, brothers Tony (Brenda), and Barry Tabor, along with numerous nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald O. Tabor and brother Kenneth N. Tabor. 

Donnie will be deeply issued but will always be remembered for his unwavering spirit and the love he shared with all who knew him.
