Donald Lee Briggs, Sr., 75, a retired pipefitter of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 150, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at his residence in Grovetown, Georgia. He was born November 17, 1947, in Augusta, Georgia.

Donnie was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gail Briggs of Grovetown; and his parents, Phillip Howard Briggs and Hattie Mae Foster, both of Augusta. He is survived by his son, Donald Lee Briggs Jr. (Michelle) of Evans; daughter, Amanda Gail Martin (Glen) of Martinez; his granddaughter, Taylor Renee Briggs; sisters, Eva Ward of Trenton and Pat Miller of North Carolina; and his loyal companion, Ruth.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30am on Friday, June 2, 2023, in the Chapel at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro Road, Grovetown, GA 30813, with burial on the grounds immediately following. The family will receive friends in the Chapel at Bellevue Memorial Gardens at 10:00am until the hour of service.
