Dona Lynn Cross, 73 entered into rest on March 1, 2023, at Augusta University Medical Center. Dona was born on October 15, 1949, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to the late James Ted and Dorothy White. She later moved to Augusta, Georgia, to be with family. Dona loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed watching football and cooking for everyone. Most of all, she loved being "nana" to her granddaughters and great-grandson. She will be deeply missed.

Dona is survived by her daughter, Cherry Deana Dement; two granddaughters, Sydney Cade Dement and Jolie Bey Dement; and one grandson, Ace Emerson Boyd. The family will receive friends for a celebration of life visitation from 3:00 - 5:00pm on Friday, March 10, 2023, at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez, GA 30907.
