Dennis Joseph Barry, Jr., 56, of Dearing, GA, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 12, 2023.

Dennis was born on July 9, 1966, in Paterson, NJ. He is survived by his wife, Ana Barry; his parents, Dennis J. Barry, Sr, and Carol A. Barry; siblings, William J. Barry and Sandra M. Cruz; nieces, Victoria M. Sutton, Angela N. Cole, and Carolyn P. Harmon; and nephew, Daniel R. Cruz.

Dennis was a kind, good, and gentle man. He lived more than 30 years in Dearing, Georgia where he loved God, his family, nature, animals, and history. He worked 40 years in construction as a drywall finisher, and as a painter while at SRS. He also spent many years working at the Barnyard Flea market. Dennis loved hunting and fishing as well as gun repair, building period weapons, creative writing, tending plants and animals, music, Christmas, and bringing joy to children as Santa. He touched many around him with his loving/caring nature.

He entered eternal rest on a Sunday (The Lord's Day of rest), having completed his earthly mission at only 56 years of age and is greatly loved and missed by his family and friends.
