Obituary

Deanne Yoho, age 65, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on December 18, 1960, Deanne lived a life filled with love, laughter, music, and an unwavering devotion to family and friends.

Deanne was preceded in death by her mother, Jene McCall; her biological father, Theron; her beloved husband, Christopher Yoho; her father-in-law, Arthur Yoho; her brother-in-law, Gregg Yoho; and a very special angel great-grandchild who remained forever in her heart.

She leaves behind a family who will cherish her memory and carry her love with them always. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Ashley Whitaker; her treasured granddaughter, Ryan Niki Neal (Brian); her father, Larry McCall; and her sisters, Tammy Jones and Sheri McCall Thornton and cousin, Crystal Quick.

Deanne was also deeply loved by her mother-in-law, Sharon Yoho, and her sister-in-law, Aletha Snowberger (Eric), along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were touched by her kindness and warmth.

Those who knew Deanne will remember her infectious laughter, her love of music, and the joy she found in life's simple pleasures. She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her beloved dogs, who brought her endless companionship and comfort. Deanne was happiest near the ocean, finding peace in the sound of the waves and the beauty of the shoreline.

Though cancer may have claimed her earthly body, it never diminished her spirit, strength, or the love she shared so freely. Her family and friends will forever remember her compassion, resilience, sense of humor, and the countless memories she created with those she loved.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Blythe Methodist Church located at 317 Church St Blythe, GA 30805. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Deanne, to share stories, celebrate her life, and honor the lasting impact she made on all who knew her.
