It is with heavy hearts that we his family announce that Davie "David" Lee Isenhour, 66, entered into rest on Monday, July 29, 2024. He was born on March 4, 1958, in Concord, North Carolina.

David was a cherished husband, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Isenhour; and his mother, Frances Lorene Lackey. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Lorrie; his children, Amanda Isenhour Lozada (Ramon), David Isenhour, Jr. (Brandy), Johnthan Isenhour (Amanda), and Kiah May (Mariana); sister, Lisa I. Thomas of China Grove, NC; and his special friends, Bob and Lucille Weldon and Tom and Nancy Sutherland.

He loved his family dearly. God had plans for his life to call him home to no more pain. Our hearts are broken to lose him.

He was a local business owner to "Ikes" Painting and Maintenance for over 25 years. His clients loved the quality of his workmanship and loved him. He was a welder with Ironworkers Union Local #709.

He enjoyed dancing and music, electronics and landscaping, and he especially loved Lacey, Panda, and Pepper, our baby Shihtzus.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses on the 3rd floor ICU of Doctors Hospital for their loving care.

The family will receive friends for a celebration of life visitation from 3:00 – 5:00pm on Friday, August 16, 2024, at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez GA 30907.
