Mr. Danny Arvil Reese, age 66, beloved husband of Toni Warr Reese, entered into rest Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Sparta Healthcare Center. Mr. Reese was born in Augusta, GA to the late James and Carolyn Gay Reese, Sr.. Before his retirement, Mr. Reese was a Store Manager for Maner Building Supply. He was a lifelong member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church. Mr. Reese was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed. He savored the simple things in life, loved to laugh, go camping with his family, loved dogs, and had a great appreciation for music. A memorial service will be at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Woodlawn United Methodist Church with Reverend Jan Oglesbee officiating. In addition to his wife Toni Reese, Mr Reese is also survived by 2 sons, Trevor Hunter Reese of Savannah, GA and Wesley Clayton Reese (Lindsay) of Gulfport, MS; one brother, James Robert Reese, Jr. of Washington State; one sister, Fay Regan (Huey) of Evans, GA; 2 great grandsons, Miles Cooper Reese and Wyatt Danny Reese; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made the Alzheimer's Association of Augusta, 106 SRP Drive, Evans, GA 30809. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. All flowers are to be delivered to the church. Thomas L.
