Cynthia "Cindy" Ussery, born November 10, 1956, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026. Cindy was a deeply selfless and giving person who touched the lives of many with her ever-present smile and great sense of humor. Her vibrant spirit and kindness will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Throughout her life, Cindy cherished her family above all else, taking immense pride and joy in her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted mother to Wesley Ussery Jr., Tammy Ussery, and Carly Ussery, and a loving grandmother to Alaynah Veinote, Nicholas Baker, Bailee Ussery, Bennett Ussery, and Treyson Welch. Her nurturing nature extended to her siblings as well, surviving brothers Tyrell Norris and Kris Norris held a special place in her heart. Cindy was also a beloved daughter to Carolyn Norris, who remains a source of strength and comfort in this difficult time. She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Norris.
Cindy's zest for life was evident in her love of travel. She always dreamed of visiting the lush, enchanting landscapes of Ireland—a testament to her adventurous spirit and curiosity about the world beyond her doorstep.
A visitation to honor and remember Cindy will be held on March 20, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Thomas L. King Funeral Home and Cremation Services, located at 124 Davis Road, Martinez, GA 30907. Family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know and love Cindy are invited to share in this time of remembrance and celebration of her life.
Cindy Ussery’s legacy is one of unconditional love, warmth, and laughter. She leaves behind a family that deeply adores her memory and those who were lucky enough to be touched by her kindness. Though her passing marks the end of an era, her spirit and the memories she created will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew her.
