Mrs. Mildred Cornelia Norris Caines, beloved wife of Mr. Samuel "Sammy" Caines, of Augusta, entered into rest on Friday April 9, 2021.

Mrs. Caines was born in Augusta and was the daughter of the late Tedford E. Norris and Coralee Blackstone Norris. She was a nurse at University Hospital and following her retirement she and her husband loved to travel. Some of her favorite places to visit include Moab UT., Florida, Seattle and Hawaii. She also loved to bake and water ski. She was a devoted wife of 62 years and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

In addition to her husband survivors include her daughter Melanie Gress (Tim), her two grandsons Dalton and Cole, and her great granddaughter, Audrey.
