Obituary

Claudio "Marty" Quesada, Sr., 87, entered into rest on Friday, January 27th, 2023

Marty was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Severino and Natalia Quesada. He was a carpenter by trade for many years. Marty enjoyed bowling in his earlier years and loved fishing with his son Marty, Jr. They fished competitive tournaments together on Clarks Hill Lake. Marty also loved to visit his nephew Mannie and niece Gina in Chicago, he enjoyed the good times they had and the memories they made.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Storey Quesada; daughter, Cheryl Boatright; Son, Marty Quesada, Jr.; and four sisters and two brothers. He is survived by his daughter, Natalie Silvey(Tim); brother, Cleto Quesada; daughter-in-law Angie Quesada; his grandchildren, Denice Stringfield, Steven Boatright, John Boatright, Michelle Brittain, and Shannon Medford; fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service with military honors will be held at 11:00am on Friday, February 3, 2023, in the chapel at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez, GA 30907, with son-in-law Tim Silvey officiating .The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Inurnment will be at Bellevue Memorial Gardens at a later date.
