Claire Amelia Hann, 92, passed away peacefully on September 9th, 2022, at her home in Martinez, Georgia.

Claire was born on November 17th, 1929, to John Francis and Anna Colletta Murphy in Brownsville, Pennsylvania. She was a retired teacher, loving mother, and friend. Claire read avidly until the end of her life and was a fountain of knowledge on almost anything you wanted to talk about. Always a friend to animals, children, and those less fortunate than herself, Claire was always a soft touch. One of her greatest claims was that every child she taught learned to read. She loved her dear friends, Mary, Ruth, Barbara, and Joyce.

She is survived by her daughter Virginia and son-in-law John, and her son William B. Hann and his wife Felicia. Claire had four grandchildren, Claire, Olivia, Teresa, and Paul, all loved.
