Ms. Cindy Lou Luebke, age 64, entered into rest Saturday, July 28, 2018. Ms. Luebke was born in Ypsilanti, MI, to the late Edward and Mildred Luebke. Ms. Luebke had retired as the Chief of Personnel Security at Ft. Gordon. She had served 4 years of active duty in the U.S. Army then 30 years working for the Civil Service. Ms. Luebke was a member of the Womens Veterans Organization of the CSRA. She had a servant's heart. Ms. Luebke was a devoted and loving mother and sister and was especially the best grandmother and will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M.Thursday, August 2, 2018 from the Chapel of Thomas L. King Funeral Home with Dr. Jeff Wright officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Luebke was also preceded in death by a brother, James "Jim" Luebke and a sister, Terry Luebke. Family members include a son, Robert T. Hicks (Erica) of Evans GA; a daughter, Elizabeth P. Hicks of Lexington, SC; 3 brothers, John Luebke, (Megan) of Hillsboro, OH, George Luebke of West Union, OH, and Ted Luebke (Cleva) of Bonita Springs, FL; 4 sisters, Sue Whitfield (Charles) of Florence, AL, Ann Dickinson of Vassar, MI, Molly Mason of Britton, MI, and Judy Luebke (Charlene Lester) of Apex, NC, 8 grandchildren, Kaitlan, Zoey, Clara, Ethan, Alessandra, Justin, Sophia, and Olivia and numerous nieces and nephews.
