Christopher Anderson, 45, beloved son of Karl Heinz Anderson of Augusta, Ga., and Barry and Kathy Tabor of Appling, Ga., passed away unexpectedly at his home Tuesday, January 23. 2018. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Manuel and Boyce Pantoja, James and Angelo Anderson; stepmother, Debbie Anderson; uncles, Dwaine "Skeeter" and Jonathan "Skipper" Pantoja; aunt, Theresa Anderson. Chris, aka El Guapo, was well-known and respected in Augusta and the surrounding music community as a great father, rock radio legend. and musician. He was a disabled Navy Veteran who never met a stranger and leaves behind many friends and family members to honor his name and treasure his memory. Surviving family members are: Karl Heinz Anderson, Barry and Kathy Tabor, Jessica Prescott Anderson, Savannah Anderson, Alexandria Turner, Tina Tabor Colwell, Barry Tabor Jr., Dale Lowe. Additional family members include: Lynda Barrs, Michael Pantoja, Jeannie Pantoja, Electra Pantoja, Anna Darden Worthington, Stephanie Suarez, Abril Deraney, Melissa Seigler, Shannon Ryck, Jennifer Speth, Regina Hand, and D.J. Thames, as well as many others. Chris will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives he touched. There will be no formal service; however, there will be a drop-in in lieu of a viewing at the home of his Aunt Lynda Barrs at 731 Keyes Dr., Grovetown, Ga., located off William Few Pkwy. in the Ashbrooke Subdivision on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, between 6 and 8 p.m. A memorial/benefit will be held at a later date to honor his life.
