HARLEM, Ga. - Mr. Chris Arrington, 48, husband of Mrs. Rose Arrington, entered into rest Wednesday, March 18, 2015. Mr. Arrington was born in Augusta, Ga. to the late George F. and Paulette Strickland Arrington. He loved building and racing dirt track cars and was an avid NASCAR fan. In addition to his wife, Mr. Arrington is survived by a daughter, Jessica Hering (Corey), of Thompson, Ga. and two grandchildren, Gerald Burke and Evelyn Hering. Funeral services will be graveside Monday, March 23, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Moriah Church Cemetery, Wrens, Ga with Reverend Robert W. Reese officiating. The family has asked for friends to gather at the cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
