MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mr. Chester V. Brown, 83, beloved husband of Vicky V. Brown, entered into rest Thursday, March 24, 2016 at GRU Hospital. Mr. Brown was born in Selma, NC to the late Jasper and Lyda Turner Brown. He was a member of Pine View Baptist Church and the Philippine American Cultural Society of Augusta. Mr. Brown was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and brother and he will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 28, 2016, at Pine View Baptist Church with Dr. Michael Davenport officiating. Friends will assemble at the church. Interment services will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. In addition to his wife, Mrs. Vicky Brown, additional family members include a son, Clarence V. Brown of Martinez, GA; two daughters, Melissa Brown Ryan and her husband William of Aiken, SC and Vanessa Averil Villanueva of Martinez, GA; two brothers, Sammy (Ida) Brown and Ricky (Pat) Brown; one sister, Dorothy (Raven) Dale; a precious granddaughter, Holley Marie Ryan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
