Charlene Smith Brown, 84, of Evans, Ga., entered into rest Saturday, October 9, 2021. She was an adoring mother, loving wife and a devoted grandmother and great grandmother.

Charlene was preceded in death by her son, John Lee Brown, her husband, Jesse Lee Brown, her parents, Jeff (JP) and Annie Smith, step mother, Esther Lee Smith, brothers, James Smith and Aubrey Smith, sister Corrie Ethelyn Brown, and step sister, Shirley Rogers. She is survived by her daughter in law, Lauri Brown, grandsons Zachary Lee Brown (Tania) and Chase JesseLee Brown and great granddaughter Haisley Camila Brown. She also leaves behind numerous other family members and friends who became family as she never met a stranger.

The family will receive friends and family Thursday, October 14, 2021, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Rd, Martinez GA 30907. A graveside service will follow at 4:00 PM at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro Rd., Grovetown GA 30813, with Pastor Bryan Cockrell officiating. Thomas L. King Funeral Home and Cremation Service is charge of arrangements.
