Carolyn Joyce Roberts, 79, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, November 18th, 2024 at 10:19 pm.

She is survived by 2 sisters, Josie Hydrick and Janet Knight (James); 3 sons, Brian Roberts, Jeffrey Roberts (Brandie), and Tim Farr (Kim); 3 granddaughters, Hannah Wilson (Leevi), Gabby Henry (Casey), and Maddy Colon; 1 grandson, Skylar Roberts; 2 nieces, Felicia Mabe and Danielle Mabe; 2 great-nephews, Gabriel Mabe and Khalif Harvey; plus a host of cousins, friends, and her church family from 1st Pentecostal Church of Grovetown.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Sunosky; son, David Farr; and grandson, Kristopher Farr.

She was baptized in JESUS name on 6/12/2022 at First Pentecostal Church of Grovetown by Pastor Dewain French.

She raised 4 sons and loved unconditionally. She loved to sew, paint, and bake. She was a school bus driver for the Richmond Co BOE for 20+ years. During her employment as a school bus driver, she drove deaf students to GA School For the Deaf in Cave Springs, Ga. She also drove a bus for the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, GA. She was the "yard sale queen" of the family and loved shopping at Goodwill and Salvation Army - anywhere she could find a good bargain! She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, November 29th, 2024, First Pentecostal Church of Grovetown, 710 Chamblin Rd, Grovetown GA 30813, with Pastor Dewain French officiating.
