Mrs. Carol Irene Vogt Hering, 82, entered into rest on July 4, 2024.

Carol was born in Rhode Island, but was a long time Augusta area resident. She previously worked at H.L. Green before her retirement.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Margaret Vogt; her husband, Walter M. Hering Sr.; and her son, Walter M. Hering Jr.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Sally McMahon (Andrew), and Corey Hering (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Genevive McMahon, Abram McMahon, Theo McMahon, Eddie Burke, Evalyn Hering, Ford Hering, and Abby Hering; and her additional family, Melba Moseley (Wayne).

Graveside Services will be held at 9:00 AM Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro Rd., Grovetown GA, with Pastor Andrew McMahon officiating. Family and friends will meet at the graveside, there will be no visitation at the funeral home.
