Mrs. Carol Ruth Hobbs, 80, entered into rest on September 3, 2024.

Carol was lifelong Augusta resident. She retired as a supervisor at Gracewood State School. She enjoyed crocheting and crafting. She loved God and and going to church. She was a member of Belair Community Church. Helping people was very important to Carol, always doing whatever she could for someone. She loved all of her family and will be missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Bessie Cliett; her husband, Bozzie Hobbs; and her daughter, Karen Morris.

Survivors are her son Steven Morris (Sissy); her siblings, Fennis Cliett, Ricky Cliett, Debra Thomaston, and Rhonda Flanders; 3 grandchildren, Steven Morris Jr., Stephanie Peacock, and Jessica Weathers; and 4 great grandchildren, Glenn (Eddie) Nestell IV, Courtney Morris, Braxton Peacock, and Jasper Weathers.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 9, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Thomas L. King Funeral Home with Pastor David Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro Rd. Grovetown GA 30813. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Tony Thomaston, Tony Thomaston Jr., Vernon Weathers, Justin Cliett, Michael Flanders, and Blake Hobbs.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
