AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Carol Ford Day, 72, wife of Arvin L. Day, entered into rest Sunday, September 13, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Day was born in Monterville, WV to the late Henry and Reba Ford, Sr. She made Augusta her home for more than 50 years. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church and retired from EZ-GO 12 years ago. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She will be dearly missed by her family and all that knew her. Memorial services will be Friday, September 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomas L. King Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Timothy Heath officiating. Mrs. Day is preceded in death by her brother, Henry Ford, Jr. and sister, Elsie See. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Day is survived by a son, David (Kellie) James and a daughter, Sissy (Dewayne) Garrett, both of Augusta, GA; a brother, Charles Ford and three sisters, Isalee Graves, Joan Acord and Pearlene Pauley, all of West Virginia; grandchildren, Stephen Lamb, Justin Lamb, Tyler Garrett, Austin James, Ryan Garrett, Logan James, and Hannah Rae James.
