Carlos Vicente Rivera, Jr., 64, entered into rest in Augusta, Georgia, on October 4, 2021

He is preceded in death by his sister, Carmen Schmidt; and his parents, Carlos and Marina Rivera. He is survived by his grandson, Logan; his daughter, Joanna Rivera; son, David Rivera; and his ex-wife, Christine Rivera.

Carlos Rivera was a very caring man, and he was always concerned about his family. If he noticed anything was wrong with anyone in general he would find some kind of way to put a smile on their face. He was a very hard-working man, and he had worked for Augusta State Medical Prison for over 20 years. Carlos loved life, his family, and his grandson Logan. Carlos, you will always be remembered and loved, and you will be in our hearts the rest of our life and with us. God bless you.
